3 Salt Modern Voices Reading in Northwich

I am reading with Angela Topping and JT Welsch, also in the Salt Modern voices series, in Northwich on Wednesday, at BLAZE, organised by Angela. I’m very much looking forward to it. I’ll be there all evening, including attending Angela’s workshop, trains willing. As its near Valentines day she’s suggested a “love” theme. I’ll have to see what I Can do!

DATE: Wednesday, February 16 · 6:00pm – 9:30pm
A new DAN venture. Pub is between Greenbank station and Hartford station easy walk from both and ample parking.
Evening will start a 6 with a workshop led by Angela Topping £5 on door.
Tea break 7-8 then open floor 8- 9.30 poetry, prose, standup comedy and acoustic music. £4/£3.
January’s guests are Adrian Slatcher and JT Welsch.
Resident poet is Angela Topping. Angela will be launching her Salt chapbook and Adrian and JT will be reading from their Salt chapbooks.
Come to either or both parts of the evening and enjoy a pub tea from the £5.50 menu. Arrive before 6 if you can to allow time for ordering meal and getting a drink.

JT Welsch and Adrian Slatcher will be reading from their new Salt Modern Voices Collections “Orchids” and “Playing Solitaire for Money” respectively at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation, Cambridge Street, Manchester in Manchester City Centre on Wednesday 19th January 2011, 6.30pm. Free and there will be wine and an opportunity to buy the books and speak to the poets. All are welcome.
