I am more than pleased that my story, “Life Grabs”, which appeared online at Empty State in 2017, was picked out by editor Nicholas Royle to appear in Salt’s annual anthology of Best British Stories, which was published this week. Now in its eighth year, as ever its jam packed with the editor’s picks of his favourites from the year’s online and print publications, and it feels a real honour to finally make the roll call.
